The Department of Political Science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) invites applications for a Postdoc position in the ERC-funded project DEMOTRADEOFF (Prof. Enrique Hernández). 

DEMOTRADEOFF aims to study democratic trade-offs and how these might fuel political discontent. Further information about the project can be found here. 

This is a three-year position, renewable for up to two additional years. We offer a yearly salary of 34,000 – 37,000 € (gross). The project also offers significant funding for data collection, research assistance, and travel.  

The successful applicant will become a member of the DEMOTRADEOFF research team and of the Democracy, Elections and Citizenship research group. The postdoctoral researcher will develop his/her own research agenda within the project.

The deadline for applications is April 14, 2022. The position starts in October 2022. PhD candidates are welcome to apply if their degree is expected before October 2022.
